Dr. Abel Robles

Ministry Founder & Senior Pastor

Originally from Ft. Wayne Indiana, Senior Pastor Dr. Abel Robles was trained under the ministry of Bishop Paul E. Paino. Heeding the call to start a church in New Castle, PA, he began his ministry in the 1970s. Abel Robles is among the original members of the CMI Global fellowship and has served as a Regional Presbyter, Presbyter at large, and Vice President as well. He is currently a member of the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference. He has helped pioneer three churches in the state of Pennsylvania. He is currently a member of Worldwide Evangelism.

He has been founder, President, and Senior Pastor of OakPointe Christian Center (originally Calvary Temple Worship Center) since 1975. He has a Doctorate degree of Divinity from the Assemblies of God Southern California Theological Seminary, a degree in biblical studies from Fort Wayne Bible College and John Brown University.

He is married to Kelly, who has a degree in Education from Geneva College. He is the father of two children: Jackie Eldridge and Jon Paul Robles, and three grandchildren: Jon Luke, Maudie and William John. Pastor Robles is an avid golfer.

Eileen Borrelli

Christian Education Director

Eileen has a BS in Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She has taught classes & involved in Children's Ministry for 40+ years. She had a career in workforce development for 30 years as a Case Manager and Teacher. Eileen has also taught GED, ESL and workforce development workshops. She also managed the PA CareerLink Lawrence County office for 15 years.

Eileen and her husband, Vince, have lived in Lawrence County for 50+ years. They have raised their three children in New Castle.

Kelly Robles

Church Administrator

Kelly has a degree in Education from Geneva College and serves the church as Administrator. Kelly works with the youth on Sunday evenings and teaches the children's Bible study on Wednesdays. Kelly works at Neshannock School District as a Substitute Teacher. She has been married to Pastor Abel for 16 years. They reside in Poland, OH.

Larry Shanahan

Men's Ministry Leader

Larry became a believer in his senior year of high school. He attended Liberty University, graduating in 1986 with a Bachelor of Science in Youth and Psychology. He has participated in and led several small groups over the years. Also, as part of a house church, he would rotate teaching duties with two other men as group leaders.

Larry works in the IT field for a major accounting firm. He and his wife, Susan, married in 2001 and currently reside in New Castle.

Susan Shanahan

Project Leader - Operation Christmas Child

Website Manager

Susan is the Project Leader for Operation Christmas Child - a project of Samaritan's Purse, an international relief organization.

She also serves OCC as the Website Manager.
